Silent March and Vigil

Silent March and Vigil to remember and honor the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on the 50th anniversary of his assassination, and to recommit ourselves to peace and justice for all. We will gather in front of the Saratoga Springs City Center (Ellsworth Jones Place) at 5:30 pm and march in silence down Broadway to Congress Park for a brief ceremony.  Church bells will ring at 6:05pm to commemorate the moment of his death.

NOTE:  We will be carrying/wearing reproductions of the placards people wore when they marched in Memphis on April 8, 1968. This is intended to be a silent and solemn march.
