The amazing closing act, Heard, at the Dr. King Challenge January 18, 2019. This event opened a weekend-long celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., hosted by MLK Saratoga.


Garland Nelson (left) presented “Shout it Out” at Caffé Lena Saturday, January 19. Following that was a discussion between creative powerhouse and Yaddo artist Kima Jones (far right) and Yaddo staffer Kristy Davis. Jones has revolutionized how books by writers of color, especially women, are received by the world.
